We are looking for our next Audit Senior to join the assurance team.
We are a boutique public accounting firm located in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. We have been providing peace of mind to our clients since 1987, specializing in assurance and tax services, including audits, reviews, AUPs, tax return preparation, attestations and advisory work for corporations, individuals, not-for-profits and governmental entities.
Our Audit Seniors are responsible for implementing high-quality audit engagements, from planning to wrap-up, working with the client and audit staff to complete engagements that meet or exceed expectations, while keeping Audit Managers and Partners up to date on the progress of the engagement. Audit Seniors are expected to interact professionally with clients, and to train audit staff to help develop their skills. They also represent the Firm during recruitment events. Travel is mostly within the Portland area, with additional opportunities to visit clients in other parts of Oregon and Washington and to attend trainings and conferences.
Want to work with people who care about their co-workers and clients and strive to achieve a work-life balance within the rigors of our seasonal business cycle;
Are a fast learner and self-starter who pays attention to details, manages people and projects well, and asks for help when needed;
Are willing to mentor others during client engagements and enjoy giving back to the community when the opportunity presents itself; and
Acknowledge that hard work and long hours are a known facet of a public accounting career but believe that solving problems and giving strategic business recommendations makes it all worth it.
You also have:
At least two years of current or recent audit experience in public accounting;
An active CPA license or progress towards obtaining a license; and
Demonstrated initiative, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a strong team ethic.
We offer all the benefits you expect, including the opportunity to work with well-respected clients, a competitive salary, health and retirement benefits, generous time off, professional training, free parking, minimal travel and team activities to enjoy when the workload ramps up.
