We are hiring a part-time Human Resources Coordinator to be responsible for Recruitment, Marketing and Administrative Coordination to lead our client and talent acquisition efforts.
Talbot, Korvola & Warwick (TKW) is a mid-size public accounting firm providing tax preparation and assurance services to clients in the Pacific Northwest. Who We're Looking For
Our teams are busy preparing taxes and financial statements, so we will look to you to fulfill the crucial role of overseeing the promotion of our brand as well as finding the next generation of talent for TKW. You will work directly with our department managers to manage their sales and staffing needs. To be able to lead this function, we expect you to understand marketing principles, having earned a Bachelors degree or equivalent and logged at least one year of experience, in Marketing, Communications, Recruitment, PR or a related field. You will also need to be a great communicator and problem-solver who enjoys establishing and cultivating relationships with potential clients and filling positions with the best talent.
We will be looking for additional skills and abilities, including:

Evidence showing you can work both independently and in a group environment.

Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as proficiency in time management and organization.

Strong interpersonal skills across all age groups.

Savvy with social media software, the Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting applications and online recruitment vehicles such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Handshake. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Elements and Animoto a plus.​

Prior experience or familiarity with the accounting industry. If you have it, you will be able to get up to speed faster; if you don't, be ready to learn the basics of the business so you can represent us well.

What You'll Be Doing
You're major responsibilities will include:

Recruiting audit and tax associates to become outstanding members of our team, which will require travel to various universities in Oregon for on-site career fairs and meetings.

Leading new hire orientation and onboarding efforts.

Maintaining our website to put our best face forward to the public.

Enhancing our social media presence and developing marketing materials to promote the TKW brand to job candidates and prospective clients.

Planning TKW events and social activities to promote teamwork and build our culture.

Preparing responses to RFPs that win us new clients.

Staying current on industry and marketing trends and technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.

20 hours per week, but there will be seasonality in your schedule, with more projects in the Spring and Fall. Your hours will be flexible.
