Audit Associate


We are looking for our next Audit Associate to join the assurance team!

We are a boutique public accounting firm located in Tigard, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. We have been providing peace of mind to our clients since 1987, specializing in assurance and tax services, including audits, reviews, AUPs, tax return preparation, attestations and advisory work for corporations, individuals, not-for-profits and governmental entities.

Our Audit Associates work closely with the client to learn their needs, expectations, business, industry, accounting and control systems, and get to know their employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues. They perform audits, review procedures and share their findings with TKW team members under the mentorship of our Audit Seniors. They represent the Firm at recruitment events. They also attend training to understand our approach, experience our tools and resources, and learn the latest developments in accounting, to better serve our clients and their career. Travel will be mostly within the Portland area, with additional opportunities to visit clients in other parts of Oregon and Washington and to attend training and conferences.

  • Are located in the Portland metro area or plan to move to Portland upon accepting the job offer.  This job is currently hybrid - part in-person, part remote.

You also have:
  • An active CPA license or eligibility to take the CPA exams;

  • A 3.25 GPA or higher;

  • Supplemental industry experience, including internships or volunteer work in an accounting firm or corporate finance department.

  • Demonstrated initiative, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a strong team ethic.
